WiPeOuT: An UpDaTe !

In case you weren't wondering,
my Morning went a little something like this:

Thanks, friend.

My word of advice -
DON'T GO OUTSIDE.

Ya know what, fine.
It's actually moderately LESS bone-chillin' today..
 but wear your shades!
it's hella bright and sunny out - by which,
I mean you can essentially hear Morgan Freeman's heavenly voice,
whispering sweet morning nothings as you open your front door..

But if you have a special dog like I do, heed caution, 'cause she's probably got plans to lay your ass out on the shiny floor in the kitchen when ya dance back in from your walk.
Only after your Converse are coated in a hefty layer of slush, naturally.

-ANYWAY-
Now that you've endured my forecast for today's weather in basically haiku format...
I'd like to give you guys a proper U P D A T E ..
I myself have been antsy as Hell about printing the 'zine from the get go, and it's just that fate has had it in for me 'cause each time I get close to reaching my goal print date, something comes up!

Here's a timeline to express my emotional journey!
(with memes)

1. Lightbulb! I must create a zine:
I drew out a couple crappy fliers on notebook paper to stick up at The House Cafe, where I met some of the fellas from Cheap Dates, who hooked me up with Don't Panic! it's a Distro! and supported my work as well as helped me with a couple interviews and contacts right off the bat.
Jah Bless!

2. Go nuts promoting / laying out fliers:
No printer, so it's all hand-drawn... Respect.

3. Put together Issue #1 of Dimwit. All material's good to go, saved on my laptop, thanks to all the awesome support! It's go time.

...then uh.....

5.
Get hit by the realization I have a hefty fine the same month due to drinking on the streets of Dekalb. This is the part they don't mention about Dawson here, the get drunk-hate life part.

6. I also don't have a printer.

7. It is also December! I'm broke as shit!

8. Sell out and create an online blog.

9. Cry about life.

10. Get rediculed by my dog. And cats.

11. Scrape self out of cesspool of pity and shame just long enough to buy a printer.

11. Start on Issue #2 as well as editing parts of #1 to keep it relative.

12. Oh hey, it's Winter! : what's up zero work ethic!

14. Good thing I got this printer! : Need ink.

And that would be where I'm at now.

As long as you're all diggin' the online updates on here, you can expect more to come, and as always feel free to submit anything you'd like to play a part.

I'm thinking of releasing some material from the 'zine soon - before it's printed because as of right now it's still kind of up in the air as to when that might be.

..Mostly because I'd like to keep the ball rollin' with this and don't want to keep those who've helped thus far waiting with their work they've been so kind as to submit !

If you have any words of advice feel free to message me :

I don't really know how much printer ink is.
And I'm aware that it probably doesn't cost a disembodied arm or two.
But I'm also at the level of brokedom where you calculate how the amount of miles to work translates into gas $$.
To get to work.
February 2nd I go to court to pay the last fine.

Here's a clip from Disco Ball Diaries.
A long-awaited saga of love and rage
and boogy.
