Let's Get Swappin'

Each time I get an idea for somethin' to draw and run to grab a sketchbook, I'm confronted with this: 

AKA Numerous pages of unfinished business .. Most of these which I have gotten so used to seein' that I really have no desire to complete them any time soon. 

SO

If you're like me and have a sketchbook full of pages that make you shudder ^like this^ then I'm proposing an art swap. Let's be real. We've gotten lazy and wanna be inspired. 

These are just a few dead trees I'd like to get completed - so I'll cut ya a deal. 

You finish my half-assed scribbles and I'll complete yours. 

This swap is a project not just for devout artists - even if you don't really like art or do much of it and just wanna experiment with different media and/or writing/collages/whatever! I love overlays! This is stuff that can be scanned or uploaded to create digital pictures. 

Here's some rando's from my more-completed stuff to give you an idea of what I mean by overlaying.. I tend to mash a lot of different mediums on projects:

I have zero attachments whatsoever to the above sketches from the book - therefor, sky's the limit on what can be done to 'em. Ideally I'd like to find others with the same outlook, though if there's something in particular you'd like incorporated that's cool too!

Help us alcoholics feed our hungry best friends at the dog pound - while also feeding our addiction to brews! It takes a lot of muscles to frown and probably a lot more muscles ( and fewer brain cells ) to do whatever you're doing right now unless it's slamming & stomping that PBR and helping us feed homeless dogs by saving that can!!

Ask friends to save cans from parties!

Plastic bins (like 5$ at target) work well for holding lots of beer cans – OR - if you're on a debilitating college budget, a regular garbage bag or box works too!! Just have party goers toss 'em in one place at your shindig! If you're too wasted to make it in the bag, I don't mind helpin' you clean the collateral after your banger (well, as far as beer-cans/glass bottles go...clean your own damn room!) if it'll get ya to throw a couple aluminum cans our way to feed our friends over at the Tails Humane society!

All the cans we donate will go to the recycling center in Dekalb and the drive will be used to put money towards bags of dog and cat food – help us feed our friends!

(My girl Carlita Mysticalhaze sent this to me - these guys get the idea!!) 

A L S O : I still have yet to pick up garbage bins from the store to keep at the [ ] during shows but if ya have a bunch saved up I'd be happy to scoop 'em & can probably store em in my garage or something 'til donation day arrives.

I'd also like to document the first trip on this 2 part drive to mark progress so get with it!! Let's see how many hungry hounds (and beercats) we can feed!

SO I used to apprentice at Dekalb Tattoo and was told that the shop used to be a record store / hippie shop before machine's started buzzin' in there aduh... WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!?

Anyway..

I was scopin' Craigslist for some leeds on secondhand sanity when I ran into a couple posts that were for retail spaces around these parts. Once I decided my punk budget - and probably everyone else's alone left no wiggle room for this, I shot my attention elsewhere, and stumbled into this:
